2. Remove the front part of the step cover.
3. Disassemble the step plastic ramp, removing the 4 screws with a 13 mm open-ended wrench.
4. Separate the ramp from the step metal base, as shown below:
5. Remove the remaining 9 screws with the 13 mm open-ended wrench and remove the front metal
plate from the step.
6. At this point the polyamide bearings in the left handrail are visible.
7. Remove the polyamide bearings from the front (left side of the step) and remove the black runners
(right side of the step), for replacement.

9.7.2 Assembly

To reassemble the unit:
Carry out the points explained in section 9.7.1 in reverse order and finally tighten the screws evenly
(Recommended tightening torque: 6 Nm).
