Installation
DANGER OF ELECTROCUTION
Connect the electric cabinet to an earthed, 230 Vac and 50/ 60 Hz power point, protected by a
differential switch (RCD) with a rated residual operating current that does not exceed 30 mA.
Include a magnetothermal protective device in the power point according to current national
or local standards for the device's power output.
The supplied power cabinet has a power supply protection of 20 A for protecting the safety
extra-low voltage (SELV), but does not protect the 230 V installation.
Always use a multiple disconnection device with a minimum separation of 3 mm between
contacts to disconnect the device from the power supply.
Pay special attention to correctly connecting the equipotential power point to the device
structure, and the separation of the equipotential power point and earth connection.
Never connect the mains supply to the swimming pool structure or equipotential power point.
WARNING
To guarantee a correct and safe installation of the Waterlift:
Read and understand everything included in this manual.
Check that the surface where the installation is going to be carried out is totally stable and
flat.
Carry out the installation in the easiest and best way if the surface is paved (concrete,
ceramic slab, stoneware, etc.). If the surface is wooden, fix the structure underneath it,
directly to the paved surface it lies on or is fixed to.
Look for a position to access the swimming pool where there are no protruding elements
(submerged wall, built-in ladder, vertex, diving board, etc.) at least 1.5 m from any of the lift's
moving or fixed elements.
Look for where to position the electric cabinet bearing in mind that it should not be located
more than 20 m away.
Use two-wire cable with a minimum section of 6 mm
for the cable to connect the power cabinet and handling cabinet, protected by a corrugated
tube that is embedded up to the electric cabinet.
WARNING
Follow current local or national regulations concerning the step position, safety distances and
electrical regulations for swimming pools or similar.
