9.5 Checking and replacing the transmission system chain

The aim of checking the transmission chain condition is to ensure that it is always clean and suitably
greased, to reduce the stress load on the transmission system as far as possible.

9.5.1 Disassembly

To replace the transmission system chain:
1. To make it easier to remove the chain, put the moving step in its bottom position so that the pulling
cable has to withstand as little load as possible.
2. Disassemble the swimming pool lift.
CAUTION
Before taking the Waterlift out of the pool, ensure that there is a suitable support to carry out
the maintenance services.
Take special care not to damage the 24
equipotential connection during disassembly and disconnection.
During the disconnection and maintenance services, suitably protect the terminals and
protective tube, preventing them from coming into contact with the water. Thoroughly dry the
terminals before connecting them.
