15 TROUBLE SHOOTING
Trouble
Ram does not operate when
is pimped
Ram will not hold load
Ram reluctant to lower when
load removed
Ram will not extend to full
range of stroke
Ram tries to tilt to one side
Should you not be able to perform the necessary repairs properly, or you do
not have the required skills, always contact a workshop to fix the problem.

Possible cause
 Pressure valve not tightly closed
 Air in hydraulic system
 The steel ball is immersed inside
for too long time
 Pressure valve not tightly closed
 Malfunction in pump such as dirt
inside the valve mechanism
 Oil reservoir overfilled
 Piston binding
 Overextended the ram
 Low oil level
 Incorrect connection or
unbalance if the footing
NOTICE
 Firmly close the pressure valve
 Bleeding the pump:
Open the pressure valve fully.
Pump the handle 10-15 times.
Close the pressure valve and
the stamp must go upwards
 Firmly close the pressure valve
 Open the pressure valve fully.
Pump the handle 10-15 times.
Close the pressure valve and
the stamp must go upwards
 Drain oil to correct level
 Clean and lubricate moving
parts
 Replace ram
 Add hydraulic oil HLP46
 Reposition Ram and base
