Example of an emergency message:
"This is an emergency call from John Smith on 10, Long
Street, Middleton. I require immediate assistance. Press
zero key to connect this call. Press hash key to disconnect"
Important!
•
The alarm call function must be enabled in the
phone settings. See Basic setup - Alarm call.
•
Emergency numbers have to be stored by the user.
If no number has been stored for any of the speed-
dialling keys, the indicator and tone signal will be
active for 15 seconds when the alarm is initiated,
but no call will be made.
•
If only one emergency number is to be used, this number
should be stored under all three speed-dialling keys.
•
Check regularly that the alarm call function is
properly set up and that the emergency numbers
are stored in the speed dial memory.
Alarm call from the phone
Hold down one of the speed dialling keys A/B/C until the
indicator flashes. The phone will dial the number and
play the emergency message when the call is answered.
Each speed dial number (A/B/C) will be called in
succession until answered, always starting with A.
If the receiver of the call does not press 0 to activate
the speakerphone within 60 seconds, a new alarm call
will be made to the number stored under the next key.
This sequence is repeated until the call is answered.
