Alarm call
The alarm call function will call a stored number
and play a recorded emergency message when you
press and hold one of the speed dialling keys A/B/C
or the alarm button on the cordless remote.
Note!
Each speed dial number (A/B/C) will be called
in succession until answered, always starting
with A. Therefore the most important number
should always be stored in A.
The receiver of the emergency call must press 0 to
acknowledge the call and activate the speakerphone
function on your phone.
Press # to disconnect the call when finished or to
deactivate the alarm and end the dialling to other numbers.
Note!
Automatic calls to police, fire brigade etc are
not normally allowed. Therefore, you should not
program these numbers in the list of numbers
to be called automatically. Some private
security companies can accept automatic calls
from their clients. Always contact the security
company before programming in its number.
See Basic setup - Emergency message on how to
change the emergency message.
The emergency message should include your name,
address, and how to activate the speakerphone.
