4. Electrical Connection
a)
NZ6000 ONLY:
Remove
the junction box covers on the unit and the blower. Note:
There are two covers on the unit. The front cover must
never be covered or concealed by fi nishing
material. (See Installation Instructions -
Framing) The front cover is accessed by
removing the front faceplate.
b) Removing the junction box cover on the unit
exposes 4 black, labeled wires:
-2 wires marked by-pass - go to by-pass (summer)
switch (not supplied) (overides the thermally activated switch).
IMPORTANT: Wire-nut by-pass switch (summer) wire leads
separately, if not being used.
-1 marked blower - connects to Fan Speed Control (rheostat) and
then to white blower wire.

Removing the junction box cover on the blower exposes
3 coloured wires:
-1 black wire - goes to power L2 (neutral lead).
-1 green wire - connects to ground.
-1 white wire - connects to Fan Speed Control
(rheostat) which connects to "blower" wire.

3 screws on each end and seal with caulking.
Liner supplied stretches to a maximum of 10'. If additional

NZ150-KT KIT
The 6" circulation
air inlet may
blower kit or the NZ150-KT kit.
The circulation inlet must terminate outside of the fi replace
enclosure to ensure proper air fl ow around the fi rebox.
Avoid terminating higher than the bottom of the doors on the unit to
prevent air fl ow reversal.
An optional opening is covered on the other side of the unit. If this
location is preferred, switch the cover plate and collar.
