instructions for use.
1. Description of the product
The products listed above are thermoplastic resins which can be process with the resin injection moulding system
„thermopress 400" of bredent Co. The processing parameters to ensure reproducible quality are preset in the
thermopress 400 unit.
Please always compare the processing parameters of the resin to be used with the parameters stored in the device
(temperature + time). The data may vary depending on the version of your thermopress injection molding system.
These so-called thermoplastics are available in different colors. All thermoplastics are biocompatible resins, which can
be used to fabricate metal-free, removable or fixed dental restorations depending on the type of resin that is used.
For the approved dental indications, please refer to the table listed under item 2. These thermoplastics are prefilled in
aluminium cartridges as a granular material and are available in different filling quantities or in a bulk quantity of 500 g.
2. Dental-technical indications
Mechanical retentions:
To achieve reliable bonding of denture tooth and denture base, the contact surfaces of all prefa-
bricated teeth need to be sandblasted with 110 µm aluminium oxide. A circumferential groove (1)
needs to be milled in the cervical area and mechanical retention (undercut) (2) needs to be
included in the basal area (see drawing).
High-quality extensions or repairs are carried out by rebasing in the injection technique
(retentive). When using Polyan IC, it is also possible to perform repairs using conventional
PMMA-based cold-curing resins, such as uni.lign and top.lign professional for bre.dentan HP.
