Please invest the finished model into the flask once the total expansion time for the plaster has elapsed.
Wax model:
The dimensions used for wax models should be very generous. In other word, clasps and other delicate elements
should be made thicker. A modelling wax with a low melting point, e. g. Biotec modelling wax (REF 51000610), is
ideal for the boiling out phase with boiling water. As a result, any color residues on the injection-moulded thermo-
plastic part are avoided.
Film sprue:
A film sprue must be attached to the wax model in order to benefit from the outstanding mechanical properties of
thermoplastics. Apply this film sprue using a 1.5 mm thick wax plate. Using a 10 mm thick injection moulding channel
(REF 43001720), attach the molten thermoplastic directly to the model via the 1.5 mm wax plate.
