To facilitate opening the halves of the flask and avoid damaging the moulded object, the press-out device and punch
(REF 14000904) should be used. Any larger pieces of plaster must be carefully removed from the moulded object
using a pneumatic devesting chisel. Fine cross-cut silicone burs (REF S263QG60) have proven to be perfectly suitable
for finishing and reducing the moulded object.
The special bur set (REF 33000830) is recommended for easier finishing of the thermoplastics.
Polishing
First of all, smooth the structure down using sandpaper with a 280 grain, before evenly smoothing it down with the
handpiece using a 400. Then the structure is prepolished with pumice powder and a goat-hair brush
(REF 35000610) using the polishing motor without applying any pressure. Complete high gloss polishing with the
handpiece using a goat-hair brush (REF 35000550) and the high-gloss polishing paste Abraso-Star K50 (REF 52000161).
