4. Hazard and safety information
Do not inhale vapors during the melting phase. Use caution in case of spilled granular material! Risk of accident by
slipping! For further safety information about the product, please refer to the safety datasheet.
The lot numbers of all components should be recorded to ensure traceability and to handle complaints.
Information - 500 g bulk quantity:
Please ensure dry storage to prevent the material from absorbing any moisture. Water vapor resulting from residual
moisture during the heating phase of the cartridge in the unit may result in bursting of the cartridge!
Prior to the use, please predry the non-mixed granular material, the integration of foreign substances or contaminated
particles must be avoided when filling the cartridges. Different thermoplastic granular materials must not be mixed.
5. Storage and durability
Open package must be protected from moisture. The granular material needs to be stored under dry and clean
conditions.
6. Processing / use
Model fabrication:
When processing Bio Dentaplast, bre.flex and Bio XS, the plaster model must be allowed to expand to make up for
the volume contraction during the cooling process. Therefore, when fabricating models, Expando Rock
(REF 5700ER05) - a special expansion plaster - needs to be used which features different expansion values depending
on the concentration of the mixture (see table).
When processing Polyan IC, bre.dentan HP and bre.flex 2
the fabrication of plaster models. Exakto-Rock S (REF 5700SE50 ivory or 5700SB50 white) is particularly suitable;
alternatively, Thixo Rock can be used.
