5 Using the OMRON Walking style Pro
5.1 Actual use of the OMRON Walking style Pro
1 Attach the Main unit to your
body. See 3.4 "How to attach
the OMRON Walking style
Pro".
2 Start walking.
Notes:
• At the initial stage of walk-
ing, the unit determines if
you have actually started
walking or not so that erro-
neous counting can be pre-
vented. If you walk more
than 4 seconds, the unit will
display the total number of steps you have walked with. (For this reason, the display will
not change for 4 seconds after you start walking. After 4 seconds elapse, the display will
immediately show the total number of steps.)
• After 10 minutes of continuous walking more than 60 steps per minute, the aerobic mode is
activated. The aerobic mode deactivates after a 1-minute break.
3 After you walk, press Mode/Event button to read data.
Notes:
• You cannot turn off the unit.
• Step Counter resets to "0" after 00:00 hours.
5.2 Store data
The OMRON Walking style Pro can store the data of 41 days on number of steps, number of
aerobic steps, duration of aerobic walking, consumed calories, burned fat volume and walking
distance.
The previous seven days can be shown on the Main unit's display.
6 Using the Event Function
The Event function is used as a personal memo to highlight a time of an
event.
Press the Mode/Event button for 2 seconds while current day's data is
displayed.
The time the button is pressed is the time that will be recorded as EVENT
data.
