Mounting and securing
TS4000 R-IS must be mounted above the 1st closing leaf at the frame and
TS4000 R Zweitgerät above the 2st closing leaf. Max. soffit depth 70 mm.
IMPORTANT:
To guarantee correct functioning of the smoke switch, GEZE recommends that
the distance between the upper edge of the door closer and the ceiling be at
least 10 mm!
Mark out and drill fixing holes for door closer and linkage using fitting template or cut M5 thread if necessary.

Drill additional hole (A) for 230V power supply.

If necessary, make opening for additional connections (B).

Determine mounting dimension and required size of bowden cable.

Make drill hole for bowden cable and recess for releasemechanism in door frame.

Mount door closer
For concealed connection, route 230 V mains cable into the terminal area (see section „Mains connection") (1.).

Mount both door closers (2.).

Fasten bowden cable and release mechanism
Insert nipple (1) through adjustment screw (2) until it touches and fix with locking screw.

Mount bushing socket (3) and insert bowden cable (4) through hole (5) into the frame.

Lay bowden cable in protective conduit while frame is open.
Hang in nipple (6).

Screw fastening plate (7) to the releasemechanism.
