The fact that the towing bracket has been mounted to the vehicle must be entered in the
vehicle papers at the next possible opportunity. The mounting instructions must be added to
the vehicle papers.
General Installation Intructions:
If present, remove insulating compound and/or underseal in the area of the towing bracket
contact surfaces. Coat bare bodywork with anti-corrosion paint.
Mount 7-pin electrical system as per DINV 72570.
Mount 13-pin electrical system as per ISO 11446.
Retighten all mounting bolts of the towing bracket after aprox. 1000 towing km. Please note,
that after mounting the drawbar the mass of your vehicle will change.
Mounting instructions:
Remove the bumper.

According to the drawing loosely fix the accessory plate 2 to the internal side of the left
–
chassis extension and the accessory plate 3 to the external side of the right chassis
extension with the attached bonding units.
According to the drawing loosely fix the drag hook body (1) to the side plates at positions
–
„b" with the attached bonding units.
Set the drag hook into mid-position then tighten all the screws.

Cut out the bumper according to the attached templet.
–
Connect the electric wire cracking the rear bundle according to the regulations.
–
Reinstall the bumper.
–
Installation of the drag hook can be completed only by specialized shop.
