10.3.6 Connecting the collectors
Plug-in connection SV-I is used to connect the collectors (see "Re-
quired accessories").
Never adjust or twist the fitted connections.
10.3.7 Fitting the cover

f Fit the cover on to the collector.
So that the tiles that overlap the collector are pitched at the same
angle of inclination as the roof skin, they are supported if required.
f Place the tile lifter on the cover.
f Bend the aluminium tabs on the tile lifter inwards behind the
cover.
Lightning protection for the collectors is to be installed by a con-
tractor before the roofing work is carried out (see chapter "Light-
ning protection").

10.3.8 Sealing

1 Sealing strips
f Fit sealing strips on the left, right and top edge of the collec-
tor array. The rectangular part of the sealing strip must point
towards the collector.
Cut into the sealing strips where the tile overlaps. This will ensure
that the tiles fit better.
10.3.9 Piece of lead flashing
1 Piece of lead flashing
f Fit protective lead flashing at the top to protect the area to
be covered by the two tiles at the edge so that no water can
penetrate the roof.
10.3.10 Covering the roof area around the collector array
f Cover the roof tiles around the collector array.
