Downhill utilisation :
For downhills, engaged the ski-stopper as described above,
being sure to place the heelpiece in "low shim" position.
When the ski-stopper is engaged, rotate the heelpiece to
switch in downhill position. Engage the ski shoe in the
heelpiece.
Before traveling, check for proper engagement of the system
and move the toe piece in "SKI" position by lifting the lever
(see user manual of the binding).
RELEASING
The utilisation of stop-ski accessory does not change the
overall functioning of bindings at all. For all releasing
operations, please refer to the user manual of bindings.
The ski-stopper automatically releases when:
-
The user voluntarily applies a force on the lever to
release his shoe.
-
The user applies a substantial force on the binding in
use, which causes the releasing of the shoe.
In case of untimely release of the system, including during
the ascent, please contact your dealer PLUM.
