Some soles profiles have geometry and materials that
cause
difficulties
of
engagement
(bad
sliding).
For a better locking, grease regularly the top of the shim or
the treadle.
SET / USE
Shim :
The Ski-stopper has a removable shim located by default on
the top of the treadle.
In case of trouble under the shoe's sole to use, it is possible
to remove the shim by unscrewing the two T10 screws
present on the top (T10 TORX key included).
Following this operation, make sure of the success of the
engagement in operating the ski-stopper with the shoe.
Uphill utilisation:
The PLUM ski-stopper ensures its security role during ascents
and descents.
For uphills, engage the ski-stopper as described above, being
sure to place the heel in "low shim" position.
Before traveling, check for proper engagement of the system
and move the toe piece in "WALK" position by lifting the lever
(see user manual of bindings).
The ski-stopper can be used with any height of heel shim
available on bindings.
