Remarks: Only use an extension cable that is suitable for outdoor work, and likely to withstand the
technical specifications of the machine.
Use the special cable holder (6) for the connection of the extension cable.
1- Insert the plug of the extension cord into the socket (2) of the control box (1)
2- Form a loop with the extension cord and secure it with the cable holder relief (6).
The loop of the cable must be long enough for the cable relief to be able to slide freely.
4.9- Starting and Stopping the machine (Fig.10)
1- To start the machine:
Press the safety button (1a) to release the lever switch (1b), and pull the lever switch (1b) towards
the handle bar for operation.
2- To stop the machine:
Fully release the lever switch (1b)
4.10- Change of cylinder (scarifier or aerator cylinder) (Fig.11)
Note: ensure that product is disconnected from its main power source.
1- To remove a cylinder:
a) Unscrew the 2 bolts (e)
b) Slide the hex nut (f) out of the driving shaft (g).
2- To install a cylinder
a) Slide the hex nut (f) out of the driving shaft (g).
b) Screw the 2 bolts (e)
c) Ensure that cylinder is properly assembled, secure bolts if necessary
V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for outdoor domestic use in private gardens or lawns.
- The product is intended for aerating lawn or grass within the limits of its characteristics.
- This machine may not be used to do other things outside of the described scope in this manual.
- Do not use the machine for unsuitable purposes (for ex. for clipping vegetal or twigs, for trimming...)
- The tool is not intended for professional or industrial use (for ex.: in public parks, sports
grounds...).
5.2- Operation:
Before any operation:
-- always visually inspect that the product does not show signs of use or damage
-- check that the screws, bolts and nuts are well tightened.
Replace any used or damaged part, and tighten firmly the screws, bolts and nuts when needed.
1- Always move the machine to the working area before starting work.
2- Hold the machine firmly with both hands by the handle.
3- Start engine (see 4.9).
4- Guide the machine in the working area. Walk, do not run.
- Always work moving forward, never backwards.
- When working on slopes, work across the face of the slope, never up and down.
- It is recommended to make several crossings over the same area of work, especially when the
grass is hard.
5- When you have finished your work, switch off the motor and disconnect from mains power
