ROUND ALUMINIUM BRUSH

The round brush is ideal for styling short to
medium-long hair, and for giving the hair more
volume.
Caution: There is danger of burn injuries if there is skin contact, conse-
quently handle the curling tong very carefully!
Caution: In the "Hold" function (holding of the preset temperature) the ap-
pliance can no longer be switched off via the ON/OFF switch. Never leave
the appliance unattended if it is in this function mode, because there is
danger of burn injuries!
Please note that the results can vary greatly due to the different hair structures
of each person. To prevent damage to your hair, select a temperature that is
suitable for your hair, ensure that you do not style coloured or damage hair at
excessively hot temperatures.
1.
Prepare your hair as described in
the chapter, "Prior to first use".
2.
Fit the round brush onto the
appliance. The extended tab on
the round brush must be precisely
inserted into the aperture on the
underside of the appliance, until
a click indicates that the round
brush has locked in place. If in
doubt, check whether the small
holder has properly locked in
place.
3.
Plug the plug into an electrical
outlet (220 V~, 50/60 Hz).
4.
Switch on the appliance via the
ON/OFF button (keep the button
depressed for several seconds).
5.
The display is illuminated blue
and shows 80°C.
6.
Select the desired temperature
via the temperature buttons. The
temperature can be selected bet-
ween 80 and 200°C in increments
of 10. You have the possibility of
precisely setting the temperature
via the Lower and Higher buttons.
7.
During the heat up time, an eight-
part segment appears in the dis-
play, which rotates clockwise. As
soon as the appliance has reached
the desired temperature, the seg-
ment no longer rotates.

8.
Note: Starting at 140°C the blue
display illumination changes to
red illumination.
9.
To avoid undesired temperature
adjustment, you can pre-set the
temperature via the "Hold" but-
ton. To do this, select the desired
temperature as described above.
Then press the "Hold" button for
some time until the display returns
to 80°C. Now the appliance heats
up to the pre-set temperature and
holds this temperature. Now it is
no longer possible to adjust the
temperature. Likewise the appli-
ance can no longer be switched
off. If you want to deactivate this
function, press the "Hold" button
again for some time.
10. To achieve an optimal styling
result, wait until the appliance
has heated up to the desired tem-
perature. As soon as the eight-
part segment stops the appliance
is ready for use.
11. When you set the appliance down
to the side during the heat up
phase, only place it on the set-
down bracket.
12. Divide the combed hair into small
strands that should not be wider
