involved. Children aged from 3
years and less than 8 years shall
not plug in, regulate and clean
the appliance or perform user
maintenance.

CAUTION – Some parts of this
product can become very hot and
cause burns. Particular attention
has to be given where children
and vulnerable people are pre-
sent.

Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.

Connect appliance only to an AC
power supply with voltage as spe-
cified on the rating plate.

Do not operate this appliance with
an external timer or remote con-
trol system.

Do not immerse the appliance in
water or other liquids. Protect the
appliance from moisture.

For safety reasons never use the
appliance in the vicinity of a bath
tub or sink filled with water, or in
the vicinity of other vessels filled
with water.
10. Ensure that the power cord does
not come into contact with hot
parts of appliance.
11. Always ensure that the power cord
is laid out its entire length to pre-
vent damage due to overheating.
12. To unplug the appliance, only pull
on the plug, never pull directly on
the power cord.
13. When you put the appliance away
to store it, to prevent damage to
the power cord do not wrap the
power cord around the appliance.
14. Do not hang up the appliance via
the power cord, this can damage
the power cord.
15. The appliance is intended for
household use only; it is not
designed for commercial require-
ments.

16. Do not use the appliance out-
doors.
17. During operation, leave sufficient
space between the appliance and
walls and other flammable objects
such as curtains.
18. Do not operate the appliance in
the vicinity of heat sources.
19. For safety reasons do not use the
appliance to style artificial hair.
20. Keep the appliance or parts of the
appliance away from your face
and ears to avoid burns.
21. Do not use any hair sprays while
the appliance is in operation.
22. Prior to using the appliance, your
hair should be free of hair styling
products, such as foam or gel to
prevent damage to your hair.
23. The attachments are very hot after
use, please handle them carefully
to avoid burns.
24. During operation, only grasp the
appliance by the handle and the
finger guard to prevent burns.
25. Switch off the appliance before
you set it down.
26. When you set the appliance down
to the side, only place it on the
set-down bracket so that the hot
parts of the appliance do not
damage the substrate.
27. Before moving or cleaning the
appliance after use, always switch
off and unplug the appliance and
allow it to cool.
28. As long as the plug is in the elec-
trical outlet, even if the appliance
is switched off, the appliance
poses a hazard in the vicinity of
water.
29. Do not insert any objects into the
appliance, due to the ensuring
damage, there is danger of elec-
tric shock.
30. Only use the appliance for the
purposes described in these ins-
tructions.
31. To avoid damage, do not use the
appliance with accessories of
other manufacturers or brands.
