4.4.1 Initialising the product
1. Switch on the product.

The LED lights up for 10 seconds.
2. Press the button for eco mode (1) five
times while the LED is lit up.
◁
The LED lights up and remains lit.
◁
The ventilation unit has been initial-
ised.
3. Switch off the ventilation unit.
4.4.2 Assigning the code
Applicability: VAZ RCW
1. Switch on the first ventilation unit.
◁
The ventilation unit waits until you
enter the eight-digit code.
◁
The LED on the ventilation unit
flashes red and white.
2. Use the six buttons (1) to (6) to select
an eight-digit code, but do not use the
same number eight times.
3. Note down the code.

6. Switch on the closest ventilation unit
and enter the code.
7. Set up this ventilation unit as the
SLAVE. (→ Page 35)
8. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for all other vent-
ilation units.
4.4.3 Setting up a ventilation unit as
the MASTER
Applicability: VAZ RCW

Press the button for eco mode (1) twice
in order to set up the ventilation unit as
the MASTER.
4.4.4 Setting up a ventilation unit as
a SLAVE
Applicability: VAZ RCW
Conditions: The ventilation unit is on the opposite
side to the MASTER
▶
Press the button for ventilation (5) twice
in order to set up a ventilation unit as a
SLAVE.

Note
The code is required when you
set up other ventilation units.
