8. Night mode
The following preconditions must be fulfilled to ensure trouble-free
operation of the night mode.
1. The pump must be installed in the flow.
2. The heating system must be equipped with an automatic flow
temperature control.
Warning
Pumps installed in systems with gas boilers do not
contain a lot of water and cannot be used with night
mode.
The night mode cannot be used with the constant speed
Note
operating modes I, II and III and if the pump is
controlled by means of a PWM signal.
The pump settings remain the same after a power
Note
failure.
If the heating system does not deliver enough water
Note
to the radiators, check whether the night mode is
activated. If so, deactivate the night mode.
8.2. Night mode function
The circulation pump will switch automatically between normal
operation and night mode if the night mode is activated.
The mode change depends on the flow temperature.
If the flow temperature decreases for more than 10 ~ 15°C over
2 hours the circulation pump will change to night mode. As soon as
the flow temperature increases by 10°C the system will change back
to normal operation.
