EXHAUSTO DTH roof fans are used in air supply and extraction systems.

1.1 Construction

Description
The EXHAUSTO Roof Fan DTH with horizontal discharge is made of corrosionresistant aluminium
and are available in the following single-phase motor models (EC types have built-in EC control:

A stainless steel net is mounted as finger and bird protection. A rubber ring on the inlet collar of
DTH ensures vibration-free installation, and the fan is NOT to be fixed to the roof duct/fan duct.

1.2 Mounting of the DTH

The fan is designed for mounting directly on EXHAUSTO standard Roof Duct TGR or TGK, but
mounting on top of a round pipe by means of baseplate FDTH or on top of a roof socket with
baseplate FPT is also possible.
Note
If the DTH fan is mounted in a accessible place please ensure that the fan cannot be removed
from the roof duct without using tools. A clamp/brace can be mounted connecting DTH fan and
roof duct.
Examples A
The fan is mounted on the roof duct and rests on a rubber ring. The rubber ring ensures vibration-
free operation and serves at the same time as a seal between the fan and the roof duct. Fasten

the safety wire (extra) to the roof duct. This allows the fan to be lifted up easily from the roof duct
for service and cleaning purposes.
The ventilator is not to be used to transport solid particles, nor in areas where
there is a risk of explosive gases.
The ventilator must not be started while the protective net is removed.
