Thank you for having chosen the KÜCHENPROFI food dehydrator. This
device is a high-quality product and complies with the recognized rules
of technology and the Equipment Safety Law.
Important information
Please read through these operating instructions carefully prior to opera-
ting the food dehydrator for the first time and store it in a safe place.
Pay particular attention, in your own interest, to the safety information in
order to avoid accidents and malfunctions. Improper use, application or
insufficient cleaning and care can impair safety and result in danger for
the user. KÜCHENPROFI cannot accept any responsibility for injuries or
damage attributed to improper use.
Safety Instructions
1. If this device is given to other persons, ensure that these operating
instructions are also handed over.
2. We accept no responsibility for any damages that occur due to
improper use or incorrect handling. This device is only intended for
household use. Do not operate this appliance outside.
3. Please first check whether the type of current and supply voltage match
the information on the data plate.
4. Do not touch either the food dehydrator or the power plug with wet
or damp hands.
5. Do not use any multiple socket that is already being used to run other
appliances.
6. Never operate the food dehydrator unsupervised and use it for the
intended purpose only.
7. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and un-
derstand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children.
8. Children shall not play with the device.
9. Never operate this device with an external timer or a separate remote
control system.
10. Do not use this device as a space heating.
11. Only operate the food dehydrator on a sufficiently water and heat re-
sistant, level and stable surface and not in the vicinity of hot stoves,
gas flames or other sources of heat. Make sure that there is enough
space next to and above the food dehydrator and assure a sufficient
air ventilation.

ttention: The food dehydrator has to be placed firmly on the
surface. Make sure that it stands level on all four feet.
