7.2 Press-fitting

• Place the pusher tool on the joint to be press-fitted in accordance with information from the system
manufacturer.
Note:
To align the tool with the pipe, the system manufacturer's instructions must be complied
with.
Ensure that there is no dirt, swarf etc. in the contours of the pusher adapters.
Non-compliance could result in incorrect press-fittings.
• Press the start button and hold it until the press-fitting process is complete.
Warning:
The pusher tool must be held in the aligned position during the entire press-fitting
procedure.
Danger of crushing by moving parts
Keep any body parts or foreign objects away from the guide rod and the adapters.
