detergent.
Clean the internal suction compartment of scale and encrustation using
water and detergent.
Rinse everything with warm water and dry.
Replace the front panel.
Periodically check the humidity measuring sensor; if necessary blow
delicately on it to remove any particles.
Clean all the stainless steel surfaces with lukewarm soapy water,
rinse thoroughly and carefully wipe dry.
Caution:
Do not use products containing corrosive substances (bleach,
hydrochloric acid, etc.), even if diluted, nor use shavings,
steel wool, common steel brushes or scrapers to clean the
steel.
At least once a year inspect the interior of the pipes that
connect the hood to the exterior or to the flue and clean them
if dirty.
It is advisable for professionally qualified persons to carry out
the above-mentioned operations and a maintenance contract
is therefore recommended.
Idle periods
During long appliance idle periods, take the following precautions:
- unplug the appliance;
- go over all the stainless-steel surfaces vigorously with a cloth
moistened with paraffin oil in order to form a protective film;
- periodically air the room.
- Have the equipment completely checked periodically (at least
once a year). For that purpose, it is advisable to stipulate a
servicing contract.

STORAGE OF WASTE
When the appliance reaches the end of its working life, it cannot
simply be dumped. The doors must be removed prior to disposal.
Temporary storage of special waste is permitted while awaiting final
disposal treatment and/or storage. Users however, must observe
current local regulations regarding environmental protection.
PROCEDURES REGARDING MACRO-OPERATIONS
FOR APPLIANCE DISPOSAL
Current regulations in force vary from country to country and you
must therefore observe the rules and by-laws of the country where
disposal of the appliance is to take place.
Generally speaking, appliances have to be delivered to specialised
collection/demolition centres. Disassemble the
appliance and divide the components by their nature, remembering
that some components can be recycled and that appliance components
can be re-used locally.
Make the appliance unusable by removing the power supply cable
and remove any compartment locking mechanisms (when present) in
order to avoid the risk of someone being trapped inside.
