2. Intended Use

This thermostat for heating and cooling systems is designed to be mounted on a flat
vertical and vibration-free surface (e.g. a wall). A consumer (max. 1380 Watt) can
be connected to the internal connection terminal (screw terminal) and
activated/deactivated depending on the temperature (heating function or cooling
function).
The temperature can be adjusted from +5° to +30°C (continuous via poten-
tiometer).
The product is intended for dry indoor use only.
Power is supplied by way of a 230 V/AC 50 Hz wall outlet
The entire product may not be modified or reassembled. The labels on the product
must not be damaged or removed.
Use other than that described above can lead to damage to the product and may
involve additional risks such as short circuits, fire, electrical shocks etc.

3. Symbols

A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g.
danger of an electric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates to you particular risks in
handling, operating and control.
The "Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
