Filtration systems must not be operated dry (i.e. without any water)! If
dry run there is no guarantee replacement! Never place the pump or
fi lter into the pool. The fi lter pump must be switched off before every
switching operation using the 7-way valve! The fi ltration system must
not be used if there are people in the water! Install the fi ltration system at
a suitably safe distance from the pool to prevent children from using the
system as a means of entering the pool. Do not immerse the fi lter system,
power cable or plug in water or in any other liquids. The fi lter system's
pump is designed to ensure good protection against foreign bodies and
water spray. However, it should still be installed in such a way to ensure
adequate protection from the weather. Never carry out any work on the
fi ltration system while it is still connected to the mains. Hazards posed by
the suction of the pump can lead to serious injury and death if adequate
precautions are not taken. Do not block the suction openings on the
pump or in the pool since this may lead to serious injury or even death.

Operation
The Filter Balls used in the fi lter tank provide long-lasting fi ltration of dirt particles
and fl oating debris. As the water fl ows through the Filter Balls in the fi lter tank,
dirt particles are deposited in the sand and thus fi ltered out of the pool water. The
purifi ed water fl ows through the 7-way valve back into the pool via the return pipe.

Location determination
The installation location of the fi lter system between the skimmer and inlet
nozzle should ensure a suffi cient safety distance to the pool wall. We recom-
mend placing the fi lter system on a level base (for example, washed concrete
slabs or similar). The correct alignment must be checked with a spirit level.
Under no circumstances may you place your fi lter system in a sunken area
or directly in the green area. (Risk of fl ooding and / or risk of hot running of
the fi lter pump). If you have partially or completely sunk your pool system, it is
advisable to place the fi lter system in a fi lter shaft, which connects directly to
the pool area. If your fi lter system is housed in a fi lter shaft, it must be ensured
that the shaft does not get fl ooded. For this purpose, we recommend adding
drainage (gravel) to the fi lter shaft so that surrounding and rainwater can seep
away. It would be ideal to connect the pump sump of the fi lter shaft directly to
a channel or drain (for example submersible pump with fl oat switch). It is im-
perative to ensure suffi cient natural ventilation in the fi lter shaft. Otherwise, the
formation of condensation could damage the fi lter pump. The size of the fi lter
shaft should be selected so that work on the fi lter system can be carried out.
Installation
Installation of the fi lter system (Illustration 1) Install the fi lter system at the
fi nal installation location. The fi lter system consists of the following parts:
