10. Troubleshooting the battery pack

The red LED does not illuminate
Possible error
• The battery pack is not supplied
with power.
• The interior light does not supply
enough power.

11. Troubleshooting the camera

There can be two reasons why the camera would not transmit any signal. Either the
camera is not supplied with power or the signal cannot be received by the LCD-
monitor due to obstacles, interferences, incorrect channel selection etc.
Cup your hands around the lens and inspect if the IR-LEDs glow with a red light. If
they do, the camera is supplied with power.
The camera is supplied with power,

monitor
Possible error
• No antenna on the monitor.
• Incorrect channel chosen.
Action
• Make sure that the horse shoe joint of
the white-striped cable is connected
to the positive pole (+) and that the
horse shoe joint of the black cable is
connected to the negative pole (-) of
the power source.
• Make sure that the joints are carefully
put together. Further make sure that the
power cable is not broken or pinched.
• Ensure that the trailer is connected to
the car.
• Start the car and turn the lights on.
• Turn the interior light off or choose a
different power source to solve this
problem.
Action
• Make sure the black antenna is
properly mounted on the back of the
monitor.
• Choose the same channel on the LCD-
monitor as the camera is transmitting on
(2 or 4).
