Interferences in picture or sound
Possible error
•
The distance is too great and/or
too many obstacles between camera
and monitor.
•
Interference caused by other
equipment. (Noise or horizontal lines)
• Pale colours or black & white picture.
•
Check if the camera is connected to
the battery pack.
•
If you drive with no power supplied
to the trailer, make sure that the
switch on the battery pack is set to
"ON"
•
Charge the battery pack by using
the 220V/240V power adapter
•
Remove the battery pack. Connect
the camera directly to the power
lead cable. Start the engine and
turn the lights on. If the camera now
works the battery pack is not
functioning properly, contact
customer service.
Action
•
Angle the camera differently or
place the camera in a different
location in the trailer.
•
Temporary interference, especially
when driving, is considered normal
in wireless transmissions. If wireless
internet (WLAN) is used nearby,
drive away approx. 200 meters and
perform a new test.
•
Turn off all transmitting electronic
devices (bluetooth, gsm, gps etc.)
to identify the source of
interference.
•
In dark conditions the IR-LEDs will
automatically switch on and this
results in pale colours.
In pitch-black surroundings the
picture will become black & white.
This is normal.
