FILLING SOLUTION TANK
ATTENTION: For Models equipped with the FaST
Option. USE CLEAR COOL WATER ONLY. DO NOT
add cleaning agents in solution tank. Conventional
cleaning agents/restorers may cause failure to the
FaST solution system.
1. Transport machine to filling station. Raise
squeegee and brush when transporting.
2. Turn main switch to the off position.
3. Remove fill-port cover at front of machine and fill
solution tank with 17 gal / 64 L of clean water,
140°F / 60°C maximum temperature. Or use the
rear fill port to fill solution tank. Pull off plug and
insert hose to fill. The clear tube below the fill port
has 5 gal / 19 L increment markers to indicate
amount of water in tank (Figure 13).
NOTE: If filling with a bucket be certain that bucket is
clean. This will prevent possible solution line clogs.
4. Add cleaning chemical. See proper dilution ratio
instructions on bottle.
FOR SAFETY: When using machine, follow mixing
and handling instructions on chemical containers.
ATTENTION: Use only recommended cleaning
chemicals, DO NOT use substitutes. Consult an
authorized distributor for recommendations.

MACHINE OPERATION
FOR SAFETY: Do not operate machine unless
operator manual is read and understood.
PRE- -OPERATION CHECKS
Sweep and dust mop floor to remove particles and

other debris.
Check battery meter charge level to ensure
S
batteries are fully charged (See CHARGING
BATTERIES).
Check condition of pads or brushes.
S
Check condition of squeegee blades.
S
FaST Scrub Mode (option): Make sure that the
S
solution tank is filled with clear cool water only. All
conventional cleaning agents/restorers must be
drained and rinsed from solution tank. Check
FaST--PAK agent level, replace carton as needed.
OPERATING MACHINE
NOTE: If your machine is equipped with the FaST
Option, refer to page 13 for additional operation
procedures.
1. Adjust control grips to a comfortable operating
height, squeeze together the two levers below the
console (Figure 14).
