● From a keypad or remote control unit
Total supervision can be activated directly from a remote control unit or a remote keypad
using the same procedure. If the option is programmed on the keypad, you can activate
supervision by holding the Total supervision on key depressed for 2 seconds without
having to enter a code.
If the option is programmed, the siren outputs two beeps for confirmation (see the Settings
menu).
If the alarm unit detects an error, supervision is inhibited and the alarm unit generates four
beeps.
You cannot force the activation of supervision from the keypad or the remote
control unit. Check the error displayed on the alarm unit.
5 Deactivating Supervision
Detection of a person while supervision is activated triggers the time delay on entry. The
alarm unit generates an audio signal and LED 1 flashes. The alarm unit broadcasts the
message:
Supervision must be deactivated before the end of the time delay. Otherwise, the alarm
unit triggers an alarm.
The alarm is then deactivated and unit broadcasts the message "
Indicator
is lit if an alarm occurred while you were absent.
You may be forced by an intruder to turn the alarm unit off.
In this case, perform the normal procedure for turning off the alarm unit, but add 1 to or
subtract 1 from your user code. The alarm unit then makes a silent SOS call to the call
reception centre.
Example: If your user code is 4444, enter the code 4444 + 1 = 4445 or 4444 - 1 = 4443.
Total supervision can be deactivated from the remote keypad or a remote control
unit (key 4) using the same procedure.
If the option is programmed, the siren outputs one beep for confirmation.
