Face Former anatomical is supplied in a standard size and generally does not have
to be adapted. It is the standard therapy appliance.
Face Former individual
The mouth shield of the Face Former individual must always be custom fitted to
the oral vestibule before use. The size and shape are adapted using a special pair
of scissors. The texture of the material enables the mouth shield to be easily and
cleanly cut with the scissors. The mouth shield should be kept as large as possible
to guarantee optimal pressure distribution and negative pressure build-up in the
mouth and pharyngeal cavity. Adaptation and material texture ensure excellent
adhesive retention and optimal intraoral comfort.
