(Fig. 1) (see paragraph 4.5).
• Unlock saw blade in resting position by pressing
plunge lever 20 and push saw into the cutting
position until it locks.
• Perform cutting by pressing rocker key 22 in
direction "∆" until the saw assembly touches the
stop slide bar 16 (Fig. 6) which will cause the
saw blade to return automatically from the cutting
position into the resting position.
• Switch of saw drive by releasing rocker key.
• Move saw assembly into starting position by
pressing the rocker key in direction "∇".

Scoring

The integrated scoring device enables the panel saw
system to cut coated panels without tearing. For this
purpose proceed as follows:
• Turn scoring lever 25 (Fig. 7) into the direction
indicated on the arrow 26 (by this the saw blade is
shifted by approximately 0.15 mm (1/128 in.) into
the position "scoring").
• Adjust cutting depth to 2 mm (1/16 in.) (see para-
graph 4.2).
• Perform scoring cut and move saw assembly
back into starting position.
• Turn scoring lever 25 back into its home position.
• Adjust cutting depth in accordance with the thick-
ness of the workpiece (see paragraph 4.2) and
perform cutting.

Use of the guide track extension

To perform longitudinal cuts of a length exceeding
1300 mm (51 in.) to maximally 2800 mm (110 in.) the
guide track extension, which is included in the deliv-
ery, should be mounted. The mounting is performed
as follows:
Note: During the mounting as well as
during the taking down of the guide
track extension the entire system
must be protected against tilting. This
is best done by using sufficiently long
supports.
• Take Allen key 3 (Fig. 2) from its holder at the
system and use it to adjust the two tightening ele-
ments 27 (Fig. 8) in a way that their opening
faces the end of the guide track extension.
• Insert guide track extension 28 with the two
adapters 29 as far as possible into the proper
grooves of the guide track.
• Retighten the two tightening elements 27 in clock-
wise direction. Return Allen key 3 (Fig. 2) into its
holder at the motor casing.
• Adjust cutting length (see paragraph 4.3).
