Testing a Capillary Blood Sample
10 Now lance the side of
a fingertip with the lancing
device.
We recommend obtaining the
capillary blood from the side of
the fingertip as this causes least
pain.
Massage the lanced finger until
a drop of blood is formed.
Apply the first drop of blood
from the finger.
