Mounting outside-air duct

Outside air may be directed to the unit in
two ways – either via a duct through the
wall or via a duct through the roof: options
A and B.
Option A. wall duct
1. Make an opening through the wall.
2. Fix the wall duct into the opening.
3. Seal the cracks between the duct and the
edges of the opening.
4. Attach the wall grid to the duct.
Option B. roof duct
1. Make an opening through the roof.
2. Make a water-tight barrier around the
opening.
3. Fix the roof cap into the opening.
4. Seal the cracks between the roof cap and
the edges of the opening.

Moving air inlet (optional)

The inlet for outside air is, as a standard,
located on the unit's side. The inlet may be
moved to the top of the unit. Ducts may
then be easier to connect, e.g. if you use a
roof duct.
1. Remove the blanking plate from the top
of the unit.
2. Attach the supplied rectangular flange
where the blanking plate was located.
3. Attach the blanking plate into the inlet on
the unit's side.

Suspending unit

NOTE:
– Keep a minimum distance of 600 mm
between the CH connections and the wall
or other obstacle, such as a column. Any
repairs to the heat exchanger may then be
easier to make.
1. Make a suspended structure using drop
rods, flamco rails and the supplied suspen-
sion rails.
2. Remove the three securing brackets from
the unit's sides.
3. Hook the unit into the suspension rails.
4. Move the unit across the suspension
frame until it is suspended flush and posi-
tioned correctly.
5. Fix the three securing brackets. The unit
is now secured in the suspension frame.
6. Lock the suspension frame between two
nuts. The suspension frame is now
secured.
WARNING:
• Ensure that the unit has been fixed
thoroughly.

Connecting ducts

NOTE:
– Avoid abrupt transitions in the duct system
as they affect the performance of the KLVV
cassette air heater.
– Use insulated ducts. Condensation on the
ducts is thus avoided.
The unit can be connected to the outside-air
inlet in two ways: either with round ducts
or with a rectangular duct.
1. Attach the supplied rectangular flange to
the opening on the unit's side. You can
skip this instruction if you moved the inlet
opening to the top of the unit earlier.
2. Next, follow the instructions under A or
B, as appropriate.
A. two round ducts (Ø 200 mm)
1. Attach the plenum to the rectangular
flange on the unit.
2. Connect one end of both ducts to the
flanges of the plenum.
3. Connect the other ends of the ducts to
the flanges of the wall duct.
B. a rectangular duct
1. Connect one end of the duct to the rec-
tangular flange on the unit.
2. Connect the other end of the duct to the
flange of the wall duct.
