1.Introduction

Use of the manual

This manual tells you how to install and
maintain the KLVV cassette air heater in a
safe and simple way.
For the operation of the KLVV cassette air
heater, please refer to the supplied manual
"Touch Control".
You must read through both manuals tho-
roughly before installing and putting into use
any unit. Keep the manuals near the unit.

Explanation of markings used

In this manual, important instructions are
marked as follows:
NOTE:
– You may get problems with the installation
or the use if you fail to follow this instruc-
tion.
WARNING:
• You may cause serious injury to yourself or
others, or cause damage to the unit, if you
fail to follow this instruction.

Product Description

The KLVV cassette air heater is made up of
the following components:
– 3 securing brackets
– 2 plastic grilles
– 2 air discharge fans
– 1 electronics lid
– 1 frost protection thermostat
– 1 connector board
– 1 flat filter
– 1 heat exchanger
– 1 ventilation/recirculation valve
– 1 valve drive
– 1 bag-type filter
– 1 filter inspection panel
– 2 ventilating fans
– 2 suspension rails
– 1 blind plate
– 1 rectangular flange
The KLVV is also available with automatic
control of the air discharge temperature and
the fan valve: the KLVV-R. This model has
the following additional components:
– 1 water controller
– 1 230VAC/24VAC transformer
– 1 shut-off valve with drive
– 1 outlet-air temperature sensor
– 1 outside-air temperature sensor
– 1 outlet-air temperature adjustment knob
The following accessories may be supplied
along with a unit :
– 1 control panel
– 1 roll of communication cable
– 1 plenum
– 1 wall duct
– 1 wall grid
– 1 roof vent cap

Intended use

The KLVV cassette air heater is designed for
heating and ventilating rooms of a maximum
height of 3.5 m. The dimensions of the unit
are geared to building it in into ceilings with
tiles of 600 x 600 mm or 1200 x 600 mm.

Conditions for use

A KLVV cassette air heater may be put into
operation only if the following conditions
have been met:
– The unit is attached to a solid construc-
tion that is designed for bearing the
weight of the unit.
– The unit is suspended flush and the sus-
pension frame is secured.
– The unit is electrically connected
according to the supplied electrical
diagram and to the local laws, standards
and regulations.
