Installation

For appliance installation and use it is necessary to observe all of the local, national and European laws and
regulations.
Boiler installation and the preparation of the building work must observe the regulation in force in the country of
installation (ITALY = UNI 10683).
! IMPORTANT

Requirements for the installation premises

The boiler installation room must be sufficiently ventilated. To fulfil this requisite it is necessary to equip the room with an air intake
connected to the outdoors.
The installation room must have an air intake with a free cross-section of at least 100 cm
The installation of the boiler and the preparation of the masonry works must comply with the regulations in
force in the country of installation (ITALY = UNI 10683).
The boiler must have the combustion air needed to ensure proper operation, through external air inlets, and specifically:
• a wall air inlet of at least of 100 cm², communicating with the outside and suitably protected externally by a grille, must be
provided near the boiler;
The minimum distances for maintenance and safety must comply with the following table:
In case of more than one heating unit in the same place, even fed with different fuels, as well as hoods with or without exhaust fan,
installation must be checked by a specialized technician, considering that the boiler has a fume extractor installed on the lower fume
manifold inside it.
Provide the appropriate air intakes for each of them according to the manufacturers' directions, in order to ensure the simultaneous
operation of all units in the heaviest operating conditions.
When extraction fans (example: extraction hoods) are used in the same room or space as the boiler, this can
cause problems to boiler operation.

The installation activities must be carried out by a technician that is qualified and/or
authorised by the Manufacturer. The staff in charge of installation must issue a declaration
of conformity of the system to the buyer, whereby they take full responsibility for the final
installation and good operation of the installed product. Ravelli shall not be held liable if
these precautions are not followed.
