Heating operation
In heating operation, the relay is switched when the temperature drops below the set value,
so that the contacts "COM" and "NO" are connected. A connected heater must switch on now.
When the temperature measured via the sensor exceeds the set threshold value, the relay
switches off so that the contacts "COM" and "NC" are connected. The connected heater now
has to switch off.
Cooling operation
In cooling operation, the relay is switched when the temperature exceeds a set value, so that
the contacts "COM" and "NO" are connected. A connected cooler must switch on now.
When the temperature measured via the sensor undercuts the set threshold value, the relay
switches off so that the contacts "COM" and "NC" are connected. The connected cooler now
has to switch off.
• First set the room temperature controller on the left screw with the left attachment hole (8)
and push it a bit to the left.
The room temperature controller is fastened to the screw by this.
Observe that the cables connected to the terminal clamps are not crushed or damaged by
sharp edges.
When the room temperature controller cannot be pushed open beyond the oblong
hole of the left attachment hole (8), turn out the screw a bit.
If the room temperature controller is too loose, however, turn the screw in a bit further.
• Then screw the room temperature controller in tight through the second attachment hole (7)
in the battery compartment bottom (6).
Check if the room temperature controller is attached firmly to both screws.
• Switch on the mains voltage.
• If you have not done so yet, insert two type AA/mignon batteries in the battery compartment
(6) with the correct polarity; see Chapter 10.
