GENERAL POINTS

The Spectrum mode makes it possible to measure and record the Absorption and Transmission values according to the
wavelength. The wavelength range can be freely selected inside the spectrophotometer measuring range.
Baseline
A baseline has to be recorded before a spectrum is recorded. The baseline has to cover at least the wavelength range of
the spectrum to be recorded. Once the baseline is measured, it remains stored in the photometer until a new baseline is
recorded, the Spectrum mode is exited or the photometer is switched off.

METHOD PROGRAMMING

In the "spectrum" mode, press on F1 key [Setup].
* Start wavelength
From 320 nm for the UviLine 8100C / 9400C / 9300
From 190 nm for the UviLine 9400C / 9600
* Stop wavelength
Up to 1100 nm for all UviLine
* Scan speed
Select « Low », « Medium » or « High »
* Scanning interval
1, 2, 5, or 10nm interval point resolution.
* Mode
Absorbance or Transmission
* Smoothing
YES or NO
Cell changer mode
YES or NO
* Colour of the graph
Brown; Blue; Orange; Green; Red; Purple
* Scaling
