5. Required accessories

The package includes a matching 2-cell Li-ion drive battery and a USB charger.
For vehicle operation you will also need 3 AA/Mignon batteries for the transmitter (to be ordered separately, not
included).
Using rechargeable batteries in the transmitter results in a shorter battery life due to the lower voltage
(nominal voltage: battery = 1.5 V, rechargeable battery = 1.2 V). If you still wish to use rechargeable batter-
ies, we recommend using NiMH rechargeable batteries with lower self-discharge.
For reasons of operational safety and service life, we recommend using batteries for the transmitter and not
rechargeable batteries.
For best results, we also recommend the following components:
• One or more additional drive batteries (to enable the vehicle to continue after a short pause to cool the motor and
the speed controller)
• Replacement batteries for the transmitter (if the transmitter batteries run out during operation of the vehicle)
• Spare tyres (in order to quickly change worn/damaged tyres)
• Stand (for test runs and easier maintenance)
• Various tools (e.g. screwdriver, needle-nose pliers)
• Compressed air spray (for cleaning)
• Thread-locking fluid (to fix loose screw connections)
• Carry bag
