Commissioning
The precise pulse value of the meter must be determined, in order to obtain correspondingly
correct totalling of flow quantities.
For this purpose, the system should be measured liter by liter during operation and set on the
basis of the number of pulses recorded in this context.
Procedure:
Fill a suitable measuring glass with the fluid to be metered
Insert the suction line into the measuring glass
Start the metering pump
Degas (vent) the metering system
(continue metering until the metering line and oval gear meter have been degassed)
Stop the metering pump
Fill the measuring vessel up to the maximum
NOTE
Start the metering pump and record the oval gear meter's number of pulses
Determine the quantity removed from the measuring glass
Determine the ratio of the number of pulses counted to the quantity of liquid metered
The result corresponds to the precise number of pulses per litre

The quantity in the measuring glass should be not less than 1/6 of the metering rate (l/h)
set on the metering pump
The meter is suitable only for pure, clean liquids!
