2 Safety warnings and precautions

Warning
The warnings, cautions and instructions in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions or situations that
could occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into
this product, but must be supplied by the operator.
When using tool, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to
equipment.
Keep work area clean, dry and well lighted.
Keep children and unauthorized persons away.
When not in use, store the equipment in a dry location to avoid rust and out of reach of children.
Do not force tool. It will do the job better and more safely at the rate it was attended.
Use the right tool for the job. Do not modify this tool and do not use it for a purpose for which it was not intended.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery as they can be caught in moving parts. Contain long hair.
Wear safety goggles, dust mask or respirator when working around metal dusts.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
Maintain tool with care.
Stay alert. Watch what you are doing and use common sense. Do no operate any tool if you are tired.
Check for damage parts. Any damaged part should be repaired before using the tool.
When servicing,, only use identical replacement parts. Use any other parts will void the warranty.
Do not operate this tool if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
For your safety, maintenance should be performed regularly by a qualified technician.
Never exceed 16 ton limit of jack.
3 Operation
Note: This pipe bender is designed to bend water pipe rigid conduit, heavy gauge galvanized pipe used in commercial
applications, and other similar types of pipe. When bending thin walled pipe or conduit, fill the pipe with sand and cap
the ends before bending.
1. Place the pipe bender on a solid ,flat, level workbench. Pipe bender must always be clamped or bolted down to the
workbench.
2. Select the bending die that matches the size of the pipe you want to bend.
3. Place the bending die onto the jack and make sure it is seated properly.
4. Depending on the size of the pipe you wish to bend, the rollers might need adjustment:
A. Remove the hitch pins.
B. Individually, remove a roller shaft and move the rollers to the desired hole in the frame. Repeat on other side.
C. One at a time, fully slide the roller shaft through the holes in the frame and the rollers. Repeat on other side.
D. Insert both of the hitch pins through the roller shafts.
