CLS Single Unit Charger (SUC) Kit Operating Instructions
NOTICE: Prior to charging a battery with radio, turn off the radio. Batteries charge best at room
temperature.
1 This CLS Single Unit Charger (SUC) Kit is able to charge CLS Series radios with batteries or radios
with batteries and holsters.
2 This CLS Single Unit Charger (SUC) Kit is able to charge standalone batteries as listed in Table 1.

Charging Procedure

To charge the battery (with the radio attached), place it in a Motorola Solutions approved CLS SUC
Tray (see Table 2):
Procedure:
1 Place the CLS SUC Tray on a flat surface.
2 Insert the connector of the power supply into the port on the side of the drop-in tray charger.
3 Plug the wall receptacle end of the power supply cord into appropriate AC outlet. A successful
power-up sequence in indicated by a SINGLE FLASH GREEN on the charger indicator.
