FLOWCLEAR 20.000
BUDGET 3-CHAMBER FILTER 220 L + 40 WATT UV-C
Read this manual carefully before you install this filter.
The 3-chamber filter is a biological filter that guarantees the quality of your pond water and
ensures a good biological balance in your pond. The UV-C Budget 3-Chamber filter filters and
disinfects your pond water at the same time, ensuring quick results and optimum purification
of the water.
HOW IT WORKS
Drawing A:
The water enters the filter through the 40-32-25 mm hose adaptor (B) and then flows along
the UV-C lamp (C) to the rearmost chamber and upwards. The water flows through the filter
basket (D) and filter foam (E), goes over the partition and is then guided down again. This flow
is repeated in the second and third chambers, after which the water exits the filter through the
63 mm outlet (L).
UV-C provides clean, fresh, clear pond water in an efficient, safe and environmentally-friendly
manner. The special T5 UV-C lamp generates UV-C radiation at a wavelength of 253.7 nm. The
UV-C radiation neutralizes bacteria (incl. the Legionella bacteria), viruses and other primitive
organisms and stops their reproduction. The UV-C system has an electronic ballast for a
constant power supply. This device is easy to install and maintain. The supplied filter materials
(filter baskets (D) and a set of coarse/medium/fine filter mats (E) ensure excellent mechanic
and biological effectiveness. The filter basket (D) also acts as a grate, allowing the waste
particles to sink slowly to the bottom of the filter. The waste particles leave the filter via the
waste outlet (F) at the bottom of the filter.

When choosing a pump, keep in mind that the flow rate of the pump will be reduced if the
water must be pumped to a significantly higher level. Therefore always consider the difference
in height between the surface of your pond and the filter location when deciding which pump
is most suitable for your application. Consult your pond specialist if you are unsure.
INSTALLATION
Select the desired location. Place the filter on a level, flat surface that will be easily accessible
for maintenance.
