TROUBLESHOOTING
Possible cause
The household appliance is not on.
Normal procedure.
This is absolutely normal and is due to the
expansion of the plastic material.
This cannot happen with a new iron.
The appliance is not on.
The steam button (16) is not being pressed.
There is no more water in the reservoir (1)
and the no water LED (11) is on.
The water reservoir (1) is not positioned
correctly on the boiler and the no water
LED (11) is on.
The ECO button (8) was not held
down long enough.
You are using dirty water or perfumed
substances.
The impurities or chemical substances
found in the water have deposited on the
plate.
You are ironing at a temperature that is
too high.
An excessive amount of limescale and
minerals has accumulated in the boiler.
Solution
Make sure that the appliance is properly
connected to the socket, that the ON/OFF
button (6) is pressed and the light is on.
The switching ON and OFF of the LED (14)
indicates the heating phase of the iron. The
LED goes off once the set temperature is
reached.
This no longer occurs after a while.
These particles are completely harmless
and will disappear after the iron is used a few
times.
Press the ON/OFF button (6).
Keep the steam button (16) pressed as you
iron.
Fill the water reservoir (1) (see chapter:
FILLING THE REMOVABLE RESERVOIR).
Position the reservoir by making it slide on the
guides until it clicks into position.
Hold the ECO button (8) down for at least 3
seconds until the LED goes off.
Empty the reservoir and refill it with clean
water (see the FILLING THE RESERVOIR
chap.).
wait for the plate to cool down and clean it
with a damp cloth.
