5.4- Flexible Shaft (only available on PRTME075/170 (310186))
a) To install the flexible shaft:
Align and insert the flexible shaft into the side of the wheel cover.
Tighten the connector nut over the wheel cover thread.
Important! When working with the flexible shaft (13), rest the sparks protector shield (2) against
the workpiece holder (9) so as to prevent touching of the moving wheels.
b) Inserting and/or replacing a chuck
Remove the chuck cover.
Loosen the fixing nut (with provided wrench)
Insert or replace chuck.
Tighten the fixing nut.
Replace the chuck cover.
c) Inserting and/or replacing an accessory into the chuck
Remove the chuck cover.
Loosen the fixing nut (with provided wrench)
Insert required accessory (not provided) into the chuck as deep as possible.
Tighten nut.
Replace the chuck cover.
d) Working with the flexible shaft
Grasp shaft by protective plastic sheath with one hand.
Switch on the tool.
Proceed with tip of accessory on workpiece.
When finished, switch off tool BUT wait until accessory has come to a complete standstill before
putting down the flex shaft.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Before any intervention on product, ensure that product is disconnected from
its power source.
Reminder: Make sure to maintain the machine in good working condition, carry out regular
maintenance of the machine after each use and before storage .Any breach or default of adequate
maintenance reduces the life of the machine and increases the risk of breakdowns and accidents.
To preserve the security system throughout the life of the machine, it is important to perform
maintenance and proper cleaning, DO NOT use non-compliant replacement parts and do NOT
dismantle yourself the machine or change the security features.
6.1- Maintenance
a) Clean plastic parts with a soft clean cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleansers (solvents or abrasive cleansers), or an abrasive sponge.
Do not put or immerse product in water or any other liquid.
Clean ventilation holes with a soft brush.
b) For Wet Grinder only - Water drainage
Disconnect machine from its power source.
Drain water from the basin through the drainage hole.
6.2- Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement
parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
b) Have your tool repaired by a qualified person
