2b. Important settings after update with Quantron S
1. When the update is completed, the selected version is on the QUANTRON S. The default
language is English. You can select your own language via "Menu" Î "System/Test" Î
"Languages".
2. If the display screen is too bright, adjust the settings via "Menu" Î "System/Test" Î
"Brightness/Contrast".
3. The machine options must be adapted to suit to provide correct operation. This is done
via "Menu" Î "System/Test" Î "Service (Code 3354)" Î "Machine options" "Weigh
cells". The additional settings Spreading Width (mm) and Impulses Without Slip must be
set as follows. Dos width (mm): the value should be selected on the scale on the
metering unit, Imp.or Slip: the value is to be taken from operating instructions with
reference to the machine type. After exiting this menu with "ESC", the QUANTRON S is
restarted.
4. Speed calibration: Enter the noted impulses again in the control unit QUANTRON S
under: "Menu" Î "Machine Settings" Î "Machine Î "Imp/100m". As a rule, the
determination of the speed is undertaken on the sowing machine, you should select the
symbol metering unit
5. Execute the function "ha" Æ "Reset trip counter".
6. All operating data and fertiliser charts are deleted when an update takes place and
must be created again. In order to carry out a calibration test you must select a new entry
from the works table.
