2a. Important settings after update with Quantron E
1. When the update is completed, Version 3.30.00 is on the QUANTRON E. The default
language is English. You can select your own language via "Menu" Î "System/Test" Î
"Languages".
2. If the display screen is too bright, adjust the settings via "Menu" Î "System/Test" Î
"Brightness/Contrast".
3. For correct operation of the weighing spreader, the weighing cells must be activated. This
is done via "Menu" Î "System/Test" Î "Service (Code 3354)" Î "Machine options"
Î "Weigh cells". After exiting this menu with "ESC", the QUANTRON E is restarted.
4. The setting Auto km/h is preselected as standard. This must be changed for the dynamic
weighing mode on weighing spreader via "Menu" Î "Machine Settings" Î "AUTO /
MAN mode" Î "AUTO km/h + Auto kg".
5. If weighing cells are connected, after performing an update on the QUANTRON-E, the
function "kg" Î "Weigh quantity" must be called up and "New fertiliser" selected and
confirmed. This can also be done with the hopper empty.
6. After an update, in the "Machine Options" the actuator from SW 3.30.00 is at RH 03. If
Linak actuators are fitted, then, in the "Menu" Î "System/Test" Î "Service (Code
3354)" Î "Machine Options" Î "EST" Î "Code 3353" must be activated. After that,
"Menu" Î "System/Test" Î "Service (Code 3354)" Î "Machine options" Î
"Actuator LA 36" can be selected.
7. Tractor calibration: In the control unit QUANTRON-E under: "Menu" Î "Machine
Settings" Î "Tractor (km/h)" Î "Imp/100m" enter the noted impulses again.
8. The actuator and weighing cell calibration are maintained after an update. A check
should be carried out under "Menu" Î "System/Test" Î "Test/Diagnosis" Î
"Testpoints ". The weighing cells must be checked after one filling process. This is done
by checking the weight filled.
9. All operating data and fertiliser charts are deleted when an update takes place and
must be created again.
