QUANTRON-E/S/K Update from 01.01.2010
1. Update with a part set USB Box (Item No.0608699)
A) Prepare the QUANTRON-E/S/K control unit:
1. Switch QUANTRON E/S/K on and boot
2. Only Quantron E/K: Tractor calibration: Note in the control unit QUANTRON-E/K under:
"Menu" Î "Machine settings" Î "Tractor (km/h)" Î "Imp/100m" and re-enter after the
update.
3. Only Quantron S: Note machine settings and machine options (can be read off under
"Menu" Æ "Info")
4. Press "ESC" to return to the operating screen.
5. Only Quantron E/S: Settings for update: Select in the control unit QUANTRON-E/S
under: "Menu" Î "System/Test" Î "Data transmission" Î "Quantron".
6. Note: All data from the documentation or field data will be lost when the Quantron E/S/K
is updated.
B) USB Stick preparation:
1. Insert CD provided and save the software programme Quantron E/S/K to the PC/Laptop.
2. Insert the USB Stick in the PC/Laptop.
3. If not already created, make a "Databox" folder at the top level
4. Quantron E: Place the software programme Quantron E e.g.
ALLPRG_Download_ST.dbo; QE_3_30_00_ALLPRG.dbo;
QE_3_30_00_ALLDATA.dbo in the folder "Databox" on the USB Stick.
5. Quantron S: Place the software programme Quantron S e.g.
ALLPRG_Download_ST.dbo; QS_3_80_00_ALLPRG.dbo;
QS_3_80_00_ALLDATA.dbo in the folder "Databox" on the USB Stick.
6. Quantron K: Place the software programme Quantron K e.g.
ALLPRG_Download_ST.dbo; QK_1_10_00_ALLPRG.dbo;
QK_1_10_00_ALLDATA.dbo in the folder "Databox" on the USB Stick.
7. Important: Always only place the files for one software version e.g. Quantron E or
Quantron S in the folder Databox.
8. Safely remove the USB Stick from the PC/Laptop and insert into the USB Box.
